Explainer Videos
My graduate degree in Information Visualization has led me to have a passion for explainer videos. The goal is usually to make complex information comprehensive to any given viewer. Beyond that, I take pride in making the process of learning fun, prioritizing design an educational tool.
I designed and animated this video for Johns Hopkins Medicine at the beginning of the pandemic, helping generate public awareness about coronaviruses.
Music Videos
Combining my lifelong passions for music and animation is an immensely gratifying process. An internship as a production assistant for Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time, I have become obsessed with the power of storytelling. Collaborating with musicians to bring their stories to life is a fun challenge, and I am eager to continue expanding my work in this category.
This animated music video was made in collaboration with musician, Cris Jacobs. After discussing Cris’ choice to record a cover of Blind Melon’s “No Rain”, I felt compelled to make this video as a passion project.
Murals
The medium I’ve dedicated most of my time lately to is painting murals. There is truly nothing better than having a massive canvas and enjoying the physical process of creation. My goal is to continue creating larger pieces in collaboration with other illustrators and painters.
This video shows a time-lapse of the painting process for a mural I made in 2022 for Baltimore School of Music. The painting features a scaled-up copy of Francis Scott Key’s original sheet music for “The Star Spangled Banner”… including the typos.
